The AHSNs are delivering a national programme of work around cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention.
The aim of this programme will be to support primary care in the prevention and management of CVD, introducing targeted interventions for people with high cholesterol, including identifying and treating people with familial hypercholesterolaemia, with further regional activity focusing on atrial fibrillation (AF) and high blood pressure.
This is a national AHSN Network adoption and spread initiative.
The AHSNs are scoping a national programme of work around cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention, which we anticipate will start in autumn 2020. Click here for the latest from the AHSN Network on this programme.
