Health Innovation East has supported the evaluation of a successful pilot and subsequent roll out of the app across West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
Across West Suffolk Hospital, Medic Bleep currently supports:
- Over 4,250 users
- On average, 7,500 messages sent each week day
- On average, 1.5 hours of calls per day
The partnership between Health Innovation East, Medic Bleep and West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust was highly commended at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2020 in the HealthTech Partnership of the Year category.
Part of the NHSX Clinical Communications Procurement Framework
In partnership with BT, Medic Bleep was announced in August 2020 as an approved supplier on the NHSX Clinical Communications Procurement Framework, meaning the innovation has been assessed to ensure the product meets all legislative requirements and no further tendering is required if a trust wishes to procure it.
