Supporting the local NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme

COVID-19 vaccine and needle

With the first Covid-19 vaccines now available, the NHS across East of England is preparing extensively to deliver vaccines to eligible members of the population. This will be the biggest immunisation programme of our time and provides a unique opportunity for clinical and non-clinical staff to support our local community response to this international public health campaign.

We are supporting our partners at NHS England and NHS improvement and Health Education England in identifying and recruiting individuals who can give some of their time to support the COVID-19 vaccination programme across the East of England, particularly between January and April.

There is a range of clinical and non-clinical, paid and volunteer roles offered on a flexible basis across a number of new vaccination centres. All staff involved in the programme will be fully supported and trained to deliver their role safely and effectively. Please read this FAQs document more information about the programme, or see the job descriptions linked below.

In addition to these paid roles, there are a number of volunteer steward and support roles for which anyone is also welcome to register interest.  Further details will be provided on expression of interest.
