Senior Improvement Lead (Patient Safety Collaborative)

Eastern AHSN is looking for a Senior Improvement Lead to deliver the Adoption and Spread and Mental Health Safety Improvement Programmes of our Patient Safety Collaborative, commissioned by NHS Improvement.

Aims of the two programmes are:

  • Adoption and spread: Identify and support the spread and adoption of effective and safe evidence-based interventions and practice across England by March 2023.
  • Mental health: Improve safety and outcomes of mental health care by reducing unwarranted variation and providing a high quality healthcare experience for all people across the system by March 2024.

You will be experienced in quality improvement and enthusiastic to support teams to apply the theory to make a change for staff and patients. You will be confident to advise, coach and facilitate discussions with local teams on improvement techniques and best practice to support the successful implementation and spread in line with the programme objectives. The successful candidate will be happy to work remotely through MS Teams and when permitted, travel across the East of England region.
