Eastern AHSN is a company limited by guarantee.
Our board comprises a wealth of experience and expertise, meeting four times a year to provide oversight and leadership in setting the company’s strategic aims, whilst ensuring that the necessary financial and human resources are in place to meet our objectives.
Daily management of Eastern AHSN is delegated to the chief executive and the senior management team, who operate within discretionary powers and protocols delegated by the board.
We spend roughly half of our time on the adoption and spread of the national programmes delivered by the AHSN Network. We spend the other half on areas of health consistent with the priorities set out in the NHS Long Term Plan and in the Eastern region and the areas where our region is best placed to make major advances.
We will always be clear about any commercial interests Eastern AHSN holds with any innovations we support when we are working with healthcare providers and commissioners, including revenue sharing or commercial agreements.
