Meet the guests

Ann Williams is the Commissioning and Contracts Manager of Adult Social services, Liverpool City Council. Ann has played a lead role in securing the 5G testbed trial for Health and Social Care at Liverpool. As part of the EU’s STOP&GO programme she focused on digitalising domiciliary care services and introducing IoT sensors to homes.

Tony Sceales is Head of Programme Development (5G Programme) at the UK Department for Culture, Ministry and Sports. The UK has developed a very strong position in technology innovation, and the Government is working to underpin and leverage that position to be among the leading global nations in the adoption of 5G mobile technologies.
